Last days of shooting for the web documentary about the heart quake of L’Aquila. Produced with Shoot4Change and Anpas, it will be presented on the 5th of April with a premiere in Rome.

DSLR Video Workshop

I will hold a workshop for Shoot4Change about producing news style video using a DSLR camera. The workshop is scheduled for the 24th and 25th of March, plus a real world producing on the field day on the 31st.

Three years since the heartquake – a documentary with S4C and ANPAS

I started filming a short documentary about the heartquake which destroyed the city of L’Aquila three years ago. The film is an assignment from ANPAS (www.anpas.org), and I am working on it as a member of Shoot4Change, the nonprofit organization made out of (both pros and amateurs) photographers, designers, artists and other dreamers who share part of their time for shooting humanitarian reportages for NGOs and other social organizations.

Ever since, the Carnival celebrates the overthrown of the state of things. In Scampia (Naples, Southern Italy), subverting normality means to regain the territory by involving those who live there.
Engine of this carnival is the non profit local organisation G.RI.DA.S (Group awakening from sleep), founded by Mirella and Felice Pignataro, who courageously – for decades – is operating as a center for social and cultural activities in this difficult part of Southern Italy
